Outcomes of Exploration
In his second voyage in 1535 he discovered and named the St. Lawrence River. In his voyages he brought back to France, quartz crystal and iron pyrites thinking they were diamonds and gold. He also discovered routes of what is now the U.S, there he traded furs, food, weapons, canoes and other things with the natives. Many of his men died of scurvy.
